PoS revival - New project lead; email sent out to find out who is still active.
Sutabi is now the Project Lead for Pickin' Open Sticks.

He will be in charge of delegating out tasks to active members and guiding them.

Additionally, I sent a bulk email out to everybody who is in the Google Code project as a contributor to see who is going to be active.

PoS project is now using Mercurial instead of SVN.

Sometimes Mercurial (aka "hg") has a bit of a learning curve, but here are the basics:

There are two types of repos with hg. There's the base repo (similar to svn), and then a personal repo. You will have to commit and update to both, and there are two separate sets of commands for this.

To/from public repo:
Push - similar to commit; pushes all your commits in your personal repo to the public repo.
Pull - similar to update; pulls all the code to your personal repo.

Commit - commits to your personal repo
Update - updates your personal repo.

Order of updating:

hg pull
hg update
[hg merge] if needed

Order of commiting:

hg commit
hg commit
hg commit
^ All your commits while working on something

hg pull
hg update
hg merge
hg push
^ Pull from the repo and make sure everything is merged and up-to-date before pushing to public.

What's the advantage to Mercurial?
Well, you can commit all you want, and you when you do you don't upload unfinished code to the public repo! Isn't that reason enough?

Other handy commands
hg update -C : if you decide you don't want to keep any of the changes you made, this will clear out everything that changed since the last commit.

hg stat : tells you what's been updated since last commit.

hg add <filename> <filename> : adds files to the repo

hg rm <filename> <filename> : removes files from the repo
