I agree, when I started programming obviously I was imtimidated at the complexity of visual studio so I went to use Dev-C++ and its buggy as hell!

Anyone who reads this post Dev-C++ is a really bad idea.

VS C# looks lonely all by itself. How about adding MonoDevelop, an open source, multi-platform IDE for C#. I might be completely wrong about this but I believe it is compatible with VS C# solution files.
