This kind of makes me wonder if there's any sort of website that lets you "follow" any account on other websites, kind of like how you can on the individual pages... Besides just having RSS feeds.

As a half arsed hobbyist I'm aware of these sites but not their purpose. Do they host your code?

I'm a sourceforge user. I have a lot of projects which (for some reason or another) are dormant, but my major one is a portability toolkit I've written for C and C++. So that you all can laugh at me, you may find it here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/wfptk/.

Amongst other things; they tend to offer things live revision control, webspace, mailing lists, and bug tracking.

Elysian shadows had a script set up so when they committed their code to the repository it put a tweet on Gyro's twitter. Of course they had to make sure they could keep some things secret, and I figure you'll have no problem with that as you usually have your stuff OpenSource from the beginning.

I saw the project management tools in github and I signed up for one. I'll do my rawr-rinth/borka development on it, and if I end up really liking it, I'll migrate the rest of my projects away from Google Code.

I think it'll especially be a lot nicer for Pickin' Open Sticks.
